WHAT A FABULOUS VACATION! Everything was perfect; and I have to say Viking does it right from the welcome at the airport, to registration, and all of the excursions, not to mention exceptional customer service. They are extremely organized. We were lucky as the weather cooperated, and we did not miss an excursion or Christmas market. The crew was professional, fun, and very friendly. The food was very good considering how many people were on the boat, and we never had a problem finding a table at any of the meals. The ship was very clean, and we had mad service every day. Of course the state rooms were a little tight but honestly, how much time are you in them?? The atmosphere of the ship was so friendly and activities were very holiday in nature. We decorated Christmas balls and put them on the tree decorated gingerbread men, sang Christmas carols at night, etc. We loved our 2-day extension to Lucerne, and Viking even had a representative at the hotel who helped us with reservations and scheduling activities!WHAT A FABULOUS VACATION! The inland Alaskan Tour was fantastic. The scenery was breath taking and timeless. The cruise ship was beautiful and well maintained. The entire staff was very accommodating. Our stateroom was well maintained and the dining area personnel provided exceptional service. We were a little disappointed in the quality of food. Wasn't on the same level as other crusie lines we have cruised with. Appeared to be the same ingredients most days, just prepared and presented differently. Also, the cruise line didn't have enough interesting activities for age group. Some of the things they offered, checkers and paint coloring, is elementary to our age group. I was not on a cruise. I flew to St Maarten. The flight to St Maarten and from St. Maarten was good. The arrival and the duration at St. Maarten were relaxing and an enjoyable experience. The workers were open minded, people orientated, and very interested with our concerns and issues if we had any. We had one issue. The issue had nothing to do with Secrets workers. The person that was assigned to pick us up after our Bubbly Sunset boat ride did not show up at the dock to pick us up. After discussing our concern with two Security patrol men and the local police we were advised by the police to take a taxi back to our resort. The next day we discussed our situation with the person who made the arrangements for the Bubbly Sunset boat ride. The woman made a few telephone calls, and the result of the phone calls were a reimbursement to our account for our ride to the dock. Other than this issue our stay at Secrets was a very impressionable stay. A good impression. What makes it better is what we were told as we were leaving Secrets. We were told that Secrets was closing soon and to be refurbished top to bottom with modern and updated furnishings and electronics. The food, at breakfast and dinner was delicious and plenty of it. Our room was the exact one we wanted (top floor, ocean front), and the resort had great amenities (pools, gym, lounges, etc). I keep going back thinking about where we were this time last week. Thanks for getting us the best rooms in every hotel. The views from the Fairmont were fabulous. Backroads did not disappoint. The guides were fun, knowledgeable, and always delivered a first class experience. They found out I like Pepsi the first day and somehow I had a Pepsi for every hike the rest of the trip. When I was half serious about going in the lake at the top of our hike, they brought towels so I had to go in the lake. The views on the hikes were great. We had a great group adventure in the zodiak and saw a whale. T also saw a bear in a tree from the van. The tour of Quebec was really fun at the end of the trip. Don't know if we just got lucky but our group was a lot of fun. The food was A+ every time, even the lunches were great. We were even playing Truth or Lie at dinner by the end with everyone. Was so much fun. Usually after a week we are ready to come home, this time we feel like we wanted to just do the trip again or go on the cross-Canada drive with our guides this week.Trip was an A+ all-around.

We are back and finally recovered from our jet lag and exciting trip. I wanted to tell you that the hotel location, room, amenities and breakfast were perfect. I was really impressed with the Hilton Garden Inn. The room was spacious enough for the sofa bed and rollaway plus plenty of sitting room apart from our extra bedroom. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The flights worked out just fine. Of course, while I rave about the hotel, the kids liked Disneyland the best of all. Thank you again for helping us! Great trip - the best ever. Everything was seamless with the exception of the transfer from the ship to Marseille airport. He was about 15 minutes late but we got there in time. I cannot thank you enough for the perfect few days at Disney! Maclaren LOVED her care package - that was too sweet - and despite my slacking on the fast pass and restaurant reservations, we were able to get into Cinderella's Royal Table for dinner on her birthday! We had a wonderful time in France! The hotel you found was perfect and we loved it. The private car from the airport was great. Our flight was delayed, and then we had to wait a long time for baggage because of an unattended bag found near our carousel - and the driver called my cell and waited patiently, and then navigated what became rush hour traffic into the city safely and calmly - whew! Linda, having an absolute ball in Hawaii. Maui and the Big Island have been filled with adventure and beauty. We went snorkeling with the sea turtles this morning. The Fairmont has been stunning thank you for such a great Hotel and for telling them that it was our anniversary. They upgraded us to a bigger room with beautiful view. Great trip. Trip was fabulous! Very hard to transition back to reality but we're slowly adjusting.We loved Breckenridge! We appreciated that it had a "real" town - historic buildings, etc. We walked around town, took the gondola and chairlift up and hiked across the peaks. Dean and the boys rented bikes and biked down the mountain too! I did not. We also drove to Leadville, which we didn't love, but on the way we found a beautiful lake with a hiking path, which we enjoyed.
The condo in Breckenridge was great except for the location of the unit itself. If it had overlooked another direction, would have been preferable because that part of Park Ave is quite noisy.
Aside from that, it was a great location - we could walk into town, to the gondola, or just around the area. Was nice not to have to use the car. There was a shared hot tub, which the boys used several times in the evening and there wasn't anyone else in it. I never saw it being used other than that. There is a nice lobby and a small exercise room, which I didn't see used either. The condo was nicely furnished and comfortable and clean; was good to have room with twin beds for the boys. There was a medium sized grocery store in town, which we walked to the first night to pick up breakfast and snack items.

Linda, everything was perfect. We had an exceptional time from landing to departure. We did not make the Jack the Ripper tour; however, George Rowe from the tour Co. was especially gracious and made sure we knew that we were welcome to do the Ghost Tour as a substitute for the Ripper tour...which we did. All of the tours were fantastic - I understand why the Monday tour was 8 hours because you need the time to see everything. However, it was approximately 5.5 to 6 miles of walking. We weren't quite prepared for that, but our guide was fantastic and he made us all want to keep going despite sore feet and getting a little tired.The transfer company drivers were prompt and courteous. The accommodations, food, concierge, and location of the St. Ermin's were all exceptional. St Ermin's was so close to everything, we were able to explore some on our own and be in the general proximity to the hotel. We quickly figured out the subway system and took advantage of that as well.
Again, thank you for everything. We will NEVER book another trip without your services. You have been phenomenal in guiding us through everything and we are so grateful for your attention to detail and putting up with the occasional silly questions.

Linda, we had a great time. Holland America was superb. The ship was immaculate and the service was terrific. The staff was very attentive. Safety is a very high priority. The trip was amazing and high energy and memorable! I definitely recommend the Contiki tour to anyone who doesn't mind 4-hours of sleep per night and can hang with 3 dozen 20-somethings! Justin and I fit right in and made many new friends. We got the highlights of Europe without lingering too long anywhere, so this tour is definitely for people who have no idea where they want to go in Europe and like us, want to sample all of Europe! Pretty incredible to say that in one day we had breakfast in Germany, lunch in Austria, and dinner in Italy.Thanks again for helping us plan the perfect honeymoon! You nailed it with all of your recommendations and pointing us in the direction of Contiki. Most importantly, thanks for helping us make a decision on where to go haha, even if it ended up being everywhere

The trip was fantastic! One of the best trips to Italy for us. We loved driving through Tuscany - the sights are amazing and breath-taking! Our GPS took us on some “roads†that would be considered foot paths maybe in the US but they got us there:) The hotels were all good - my favorite was probably Laconda la Pieve in Semproniano due to the lovely host/hostess. They prepared breakfast AND dinner for guests if requested. The husband is the cook and his wife, Angela, is hostess. Their rooms were individually decorated and it was very clean and in good repair. She had a beautiful outdoor terrace that we ate our breakfast on and we had Prosecco each evening out there too. The town itself is very small but it is really close to spectacular medeival villages like Pitigliano and Surano which we visited and loved. Cortona was lively and full of pretty shops and of course, good dining. That room was very nice and spacious. They had a nice breakfast too. We found the perfect cafe/bar at the end of the main street that overlooked the valley and hills and had drinks there both nights. Really spectacular views!The Chianti tour was very impressive. The driver, I think his name was Alicio, was very nice, spoke excellent English, very personable and polite. The drive to the winery was about 1 1/2 hours, longer than we thought but beautiful and he told us a lot about the country we were driving through. We stopped for an hour in Greve before getting to the winery which was a pretty stop. Our tour started a little late so that was probably the reason we did not get the Tuscan lunch they described. We had to meet our driver at a specific time so had to leave before that. The winery is spectacular and we enjoyed it very much. We did enjoy the wine tasting, just left right after that.
Rimini had lots of history along with being on the beach so it was a different venue for us to enjoy. Very nice hotel, nicely decorated, nice view overlooking the beach. We walked into the city both days and found it to be an easy and pretty walk along tree-lined streets with beautiful mansions lining the streets. On our way to Cortona from Rimini we did stop in San Marino - a recommendation from an Italian teacher at my school. We loved it! We didn’t have much time there due to challenging parking but we’d love to go back. It is a separate “state†and not part of Italy - very interesting. I’d recommend it. It’s way up in the hills/mountains and there are of course, amazing views.
The Golden Tulip hotel at the airport was also very nice. We walked along the beach the evening we arrived and ate at a local restaurant. The location worked well for returning the car the next morning. We did have a challenge finding the car rental return location - a little stressful but nothing anyone could do about that!
We liked the reasonable distance between destinations. I think you prepared a great itinerary for us - thanks again!

Just wanted to let you know that we had a GREAT time on the cruise! Wow, it was just awesome. We had beautiful weather the whole time. Loved our trip to Nassau - went to Atlantis and spent the day at the water park, which we all really enjoyed. Boys loved the waverunners/jet skis at Castaway Cay, and the day was just a perfect beach day. Disney is so great - all the attention to detail and the customer service on the ship was amazing. Boys also enjoyed Vibe and just exploring the ship. I'm so glad we upgraded to a Disney cruise - definitely worth the extra cost.Also, the room was great. Really glad we went for a room with a balcony. Gave us more space in the room and we enjoyed some time out there looking at the ports and ocean. My son actually put his mattress out on the balcony at night and slept under the stars (of course, he also had those early wake ups with the sunrise, but he really enjoys the outdoors so it was all good).
Again, thanks for your help in planning this trip. Couldn't have been better!

I have been meaning to write you to tell you what a WONDERFUL time we had and to Thank You for all of your help with the trip. We will do this trip again.The first best thing was being able to drive to Baltimore and board the ship. The four of us left our house in Springfield around 9:00 a.m. We arrived in the parking lot at the Cruise Terminal around 10:15. At 10:30, as promised, they told us to start moving forward and to drop our bags with the porters, which we did. We had printed the luggage tags and attached them, so that made that part easy. Then we pulled into the parking lot, paid for the week, parked and walked a short distance into the Cruise Terminal. By 11:15, we were checked in, had our Cruise Cards, had boarded the ship and were sitting at the bar having our first beverage! What a fabulous start to the trip!!!!! And we just had a wonderful time from there. We were blessed with good weather for most of the week -- the departure day and the two days we were in Bermuda were absolutely perfect weatherwise. We also had mostly good weather on the cruising days - there was some rain a couple of days, but that gave us the opportunity to sit and read a book, shop, just relax, etc.
And at the end, it was so nice to be able to get off the ship, get our luggage and go right to the car and drive out. Our trip home was equally quick and uneventful -- which is pretty nice, considering it was during rush hour on a Friday!!!!! So, as I said, we would do that trip again and probably will!!!!!

I want to let you know that we had a fantastic trip and thank you for the great job you did in setting everything up. We had virtually no hitches in all of the traveling. The hotels were all very good. They were well located in each city, within walking distance to all kinds of great sites and restaurants. The planes, trains, and automobile all worked out very well. We enjoyed all of the places we visited. I cannot even say that we had a favorite as all of them were so much fun.
